Background:
YUM YUM Creative Solutions™ are an established full brand communications agency servicing an extensive client base, with a particular competency in facilitating the pharmaceuticals sector.
Travis was commissioned to completely rethink the businesses most prized of assets, their company website; clearly residing in an increasingly competitive environment.
To this end, being invited to produce the website of a credible creative agency is both compliment and honour combined. Other responsibilities included the management of this project right through to the development process, including browser testing and quality assurance.
The Challenge:
To maintain a healthy interest from the likes of new and existing clients, including aspiring pharma giants such as Johnson & Johnson®, the site’s reinvention faced a number of obstacles, for which only a considered approach would do.
The Solution:
Concise and to-the-point copywriting, with clearly defined cases studies that did not breach the bounds of client privacy.
The clever use of responsive web layouts and development practices, to ensure an efficient uncluttered environment for the agency to showcase its expertise across a range of devices and web browsers.
There’s nothing quite like free advertising and getting people talking through innovation; a social stance would be endorsed to capacitate this directive with the use of social integration, RSS feeds, subscriber accounts and the YUM YUM blog spot.
All you can eat! The modern day visitor will soon lose interest in a website if not able to pinpoint information relevant to their needs within just a few seconds, so a ‘tabloid style’ drill-down on info was implemented. Nobody likes being overwhelmed with irrelevant copy, so top-level bite-sized headers and bulleted content appear on first instance, with the ability for users to read more with the simple click of a button should they wish to do so, or quickly move to the following sector.



















Visually captivating; …sharp, sharp, sharp ~ without the latest parallax style flow of content, fabulous imagery and captivating design, a degree of confidence in the ability of those promising to imaginatively lead creative briefs would not be fulfilled. This side of the project was absolutely key, as any creative agency professing to pioneer in design is under considerable pressure to realise this message in work hosted online in their name.
